2i really can't make my predictions because not having a golden globe televised this year has really thrown me off. I do think you are right about DDL though.
3I agree with alot of these.
4I really want Cate Blanchette to win one of hers. She's got stiff competition though. I haven't seen hardly any of these movies.
5I entered the contest although I have't seen any of these films. I'd like to see the young girl from Atonement win, I like when the younger actresses win, and I'd like to see Cate win too.

8All those sound good too. Although I am hoping the Marion Cotillard will get the Oscar, she was freaking awesome in La Mome. I didn't see Julie Christie's movie so I'm being totally partial.
