No, this is not the Paris Hilton sex tape! Pervs! That is called One Night in Paris.

2 Days in Paris is the story of Marion (Delpy) a French photographer living in New York, and her boyfriend of two years, Jack (Goldberg), an American interior designer. After spending two weeks in Venice, they head to Paris for just two days, to stay in the apartment Marion keeps upstairs from her parents (played by Delpy's real-life parents), who Jack has not yet met. The film focuses on just that - their two days in Paris.

Marion is tempestuous and eccentric, with anger management issues and a promiscuous past, while Jack is germophobic, neurotic, and jealous. During their stay in Paris, Marion and Jack encounter several of Marion's ex-boyfriends, as well as deal with her eccentric, ex-hippie parents and her sullen sister, Rose.

This is definitely a dialogue movie; there's mostly talking and not too much action. But the dialogue is hilarious. Marion and Jack's quipping and quarreling is so funny and intelligent, and the language barrier that Jack has to deal with makes things even more humorous. I definitely laughed out loud a whole lot, especially during the first half of this movie. At one point, the boyfriend said, "Everyone in this movie is completely crazy." He was partially right, but it didn't make the movie any less fun.

The movie falls apart a bit near the end, when the relationship falls apart, but got back on track for the very ending. Even when it lost its footing, it was still one of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a long time. Delpy and Goldberg were absolutely perfect in their roles, and it was a funny, sweet-but-not-too-sweet experience.
