I ordered two pairs of shoes from Urban Outfitters yesterday (two pairs of these, in black and gold, in case you were wondering). I had a 20% off coupon code so I decided to splurge to get 2-day shipping instead of standard, which takes 5-7 days.
Well, I just got an email from Urban. They accidentally shipped my shoes standard anyway. Since I don't need them for anything, I don't really care. But they did two really cool things:
1. Credited me for the shipping so that I didn't have to pay any shipping at all.
2. Gave me a 10% promo code to use next time I place an order.
Pretty sweet, huh? That's how all places should do customer service - preemptively admit your mistakes and make up for them!
Yay to Urban.

1Well, guess what? You can get them at Delia's for $42, which is $16 less than what I paid. But they only have black and silver, not gold.
2I just looked and they only had them in silver and gold....weird. Anyways I really like them in black.
Im obsessed with all these different types of gladiator sandals. Its the only way I want to wear a sandal now. I keep hoping that it will be one of those shoes like the ballet flat that just sticks around past the summer trend
3Ooh, those are very cool and great job, Urban!!!!!!
4Whip when they arrive any chance you would take a pic of you wearing them?
5That was really nice of them to do that.

11Great customer service. I had to exchange something and they didn't give me any trouble or charge me any additional charges.

Maybe the people at Urban Outfitters need to have a conversation with your phone people.
Great service! I think I will reward them for being nice to our Whippy by purchasing something from them myself.
