First, the Best

Best All-Around:

Marisa Tomei - This is just fabulous! The dove grey color, the intricate pleats, and the stunning silhouette... I'm gushing.

Runner Up, Best All-Around:

Natalie Portman - I love the soft lilac, the simple draped shape, the simple hair, and the fact that she didn't wear a necklace. Perfection.

Best Newcomer:

Taraji P. Henson looks flawless in her soft ivory dress and fabulous diamond necklace.

Best Jewelry:

What an amazing collar necklace on Amy Adams. It frames her face beautifully.

Consistently Improving Award:

Just a few months ago, Evan Rachel Wood was dressing like her ex Marilyn's ex Dita. But now she's really come into her own. I don't love this look as much as I loved her Golden Globes gown, but she still looks amazing.

Best Shimmer Award:

Anne Hathaway knows that when your gown is shimmery, it's best to keep a simple silhouette. She is absolutely glowing.

Best Black Award:

Diane Lane isn't blowing me away, but she still looks lovely in basic black.

Best Shape Award:

Anyone who is not a 6 foot Glamazon would be overwhelmed by this dress, but Heidi Klum looks amazing in it.

Took me a while, but now I dig it Award:

At first, I wasn't sure about Freida Pinto's dress. I liked the color but wasn't sure about the one sleeve. But it grew on me when I realized that it reminded me of an Indian sari.

Best Texture Award:

If Maria Monounos' gown was pink, I would think it was too frou-frou. But because it was a cool steel grey, I thought it was fabulous!

Best Princess Gown:

Sarah Jessica Parker looks very Carrie Bradshaw.

Best Meryl Award:

Meryl Streep is hit or miss on the red carpet, but she nailed it this time.

Now, the Worst

Worst All-Around:

Beyonce needs to stop letting her mother dress her. This is beyond tacky. My eyes hurt from looking at her. Barf.

Worst Shimmer Award, Runner Up Worst All-Around:

Miley Cyrus looks like a little girl playing dress-up. She should be embarrassed.

Most Disappointing Award:

I want SO badly to like Kate Winslet's look, but I just can't. The tulle/lace/whatever thing ruins the whole dress, and I'm really not a fan of the hair.

Worst Shape Award:

What the crap is hanging off of Jessica Biel's boob? To quote Aud, she looks like she's wearing a towel.

Least Effort Awards:

Bridget Fonda and Phoebe Cates look like they picked this up at Dress Barn about 30 minutes before she showed up.

David's Bridal Reject Award:

First of all, mermaid dresses are flattering on NOBODY, not even Melissa George. Secondly, the stark white of the dress make it look like it was bought from the discount rack of a bridal shop. No good.

Much Too Much Award:

I know she's a screen legend, but Sophia Loren needs to learn that the extreme fashion of her heyday is dated and tacky.

You Are Not A Statuette Award:

Viola Davis' hair and makeup are lovely, but her dress is a little too much like an Oscar Statuette for my liking.

Worst Runway Adaptation Award:

Vanessa Hudgens' dress is just okay, and despite the fact that I loathe mermaid dresses, I normally wouldn't have put her on the worst list. But it is a bastardization of one of my favorite dresses from the Marchesa spring 2009 line.

And the Rest

Lovely from the Neck Up Award:

I love Amanda Seyfried's hair, makeup and necklace, and the color of her dress is lovely, but it's just not flattering.

Lovely from the Neck Down Award:

Lisa Rinna's gown is a beautiful color and very flattering, but her scary lips and stupid hairdo just ruin it.

Black AGAIN? Award:

I would probably die of shock if Angelina Jolie wore something besides black or grey. But the bright green earrings save her from the worst dressed award.

At Least it's not Black Award:

Jennifer Aniston wears black and earth tones almost exclusively. So, at least this isn't black, and at least it's got some bling. Her hair looks nice but it's a bit casual for the Oscars.

Funny Ladies in Gold Award:

Tina Fey and Leslie Mann are right on trend in sleek metallic dresses. It's nice to see beautiful, funny women in the spotlight.

We've Seen It All Before Award:

Penelope Cruz looks nice, but this looks just like the gown she wore to the Oscars two years ago.

Matchy-Matchy Award:

Melissa Leo managed to match her gown with her hair.

Ageless Award:

Okay, her gown is kind of boring, but does Robin Write Penn EVER age?
